HER

I’ll be the first to admit it,
She is the kind of beautiful,
That honestly kinda scares me,

The kind of beautiful the sun seeks,
Even if it gives more time to day,
And she is worth every minute,

The kind of beautiful the wind craves,
Because she gives it something to chase,
With how she blows me away,

The kind of beautiful the skies weep for,
Knowing the rain is the only way,
The clouds can touch her,

The kind of beautiful snow melts for,
Like a summer that came before spring,
Like a flower before the seed,

The kind of beautiful the rain watered,
In the middle of a drought,
So she blooms from the dust,

The kind of beautiful I’ve held on to,
Like the drop of sweat down the face of God,
She was a show of His great works,
