Or save it for the payment of sadness,
For the days grow long,

Bless your name canonized,
In a book of all that is good,
Put together by your self-righteousness,

Shed a tear for your child,
A generation you want to mark,
Writing fate into a life not yet brought forth,
And call yourself a breaker of curses,

Shed a tear for your guardian,
For they have lost count,
Of how many versions of you,
They have buried in your pursuit of greatness,

Shed a tear for crying sake,
Let your ambitions rain the pain of gain,
Label your passions as life in definition,
Let no one tell you the sky was your limit
